About this test
Visual inspection
This is a visual color inspection. You look at each solid color and judge with your own eyes. It does not measure or diagnose the display automatically.
What this test does not do
It does not measure color accuracy, gamut, luminance, gamma, ΔE, or calibration, and it does not analyze grayscale, contrast, color-banding, or uniformity — those have separate tools.
What can affect what you see
Ambient light, screen brightness, viewing angle, browser and system color management, night-light/blue-light filters, HDR, and panel characteristics can all change how colors appear.
Tip
For the most useful check, use your normal brightness, dim the room slightly, and view the screen straight on at your usual distance.

What is Screen Color Test?
A screen color test shows solid colors like red, green, blue, and gray on the whole screen. It helps you spot if one area looks a different shade, if there is a color tint, or if a small spot or pixel looks different. You just look with your own eyes.

01How do I check for a color tint?
Step through white and the grays. A tint often shows as a subtle warm, cool, pink, or green cast across the whole screen or in patches.
02What does uneven color look like?
One area looks slightly different from the rest — for example a corner or edge that appears warmer, cooler, darker, or more washed out on a solid color.
03Can this test measure color accuracy?
No. It is a visual check. It does not measure color accuracy, gamut, brightness, gamma, or ΔE, and it does not calibrate the display.
04Why do colors look different at an angle?
Viewing angle changes how the panel’s colors and brightness appear, especially on some LCDs. Check the screen straight on at your normal viewing position.
05Why does my screen look warmer at night?
Night-light, blue-light filter, or system color temperature settings can add a warm tint. Turn those off temporarily for a neutral check.
