Choose test mode
Place multiple fingers on the screen and check that every touch point appears and follows your fingers.
What do you see?
Browser-based touch test. Results reflect observed pointer/touch events and can be affected by the browser, operating system, screen protector, moisture, gloves, stylus/finger input, and device limitations.

How to test
01
Clean the screen
Use a clean, dry screen and finger for the most consistent test.
02
Go Fullscreen
Start the test, then press F to view the test area fullscreen where supported.
03
Test Multiple Touches
Place multiple fingers on the screen and check that all visible touch points track correctly.
04
Trace the Patterns
Draw across different areas and look for gaps, jumps, jitter, or unexpected movement.
05
Scan the Edges
Touch the corners, edges, and center to check for unresponsive areas.
06
Record Observations
Choose the result that best matches what you observed.
About
About this test
Browser events only
This test uses browser touch and pointer events to inspect interaction and coverage. The browser cannot reliably measure the touchscreen controller's true hardware sampling rate or total touch latency.
What can affect what you see
Browser and OS behavior, screen protectors, moisture, gloves, touch settings, stylus versus finger input, and device or browser limitations can all affect results.
How it differs
Touch Screen
Touch input response and coverage.
Dead Pixel
Display pixel defects.
Display Performance
Browser rendering performance.
What is Touch Screen Test?
A Touch Screen Test shows touch points, drawing guides, and a tap grid so you can visually check touch response, tracking, and coverage. It is a browser interaction check only. It does not measure sampling rate, touch latency, pressure sensitivity, or hardware condition.
FAQ
Touch Screen Test FAQ
01How do I test if my touch screen is working?
Drag your finger slowly across the entire test area and look for gaps, missed areas, or unexpected movement.
02How do I find a dead zone on my touch screen?
Use the dead-zone grid and touch every part of the screen. A cell that repeatedly does not respond may indicate an unresponsive area.
03How do I test multi-touch?
Place several fingers on the screen at the same time and check how many touch points the browser detects.
04Why is part of my touch screen not responding?
A screen protector, case pressure, moisture, software issues, physical damage, or the touch hardware itself can cause unresponsive areas.
05Can this test measure touch latency?
No. A browser-based test cannot reliably measure the physical touch hardware's latency.
06Can this test tell me the maximum number of touches my device supports?
It shows the touch points observed during the test, but that should not be treated as a guaranteed hardware maximum.
07Can I use this test on a laptop?
Yes, if the laptop has a touchscreen. For a real touch test, open the page directly on the touchscreen device.
